These spiral sun wall art pieces are handwoven with palm leaf by artisans from the Luangwa Artisan Collective in Zambia. One of our most popular designs around lodges in Zambia, we decided it's time these stunning art pieces were available on our online store.


The artisans from Luangwa Artisan Collective are independent artisans that work out from Tribal Textiles, and all sale proceeds go directly to them and their families. We train those local artists in product development and business skills such as merchandising, accounting and design.

GRASS ROOTS DEVELOPMENT

As of 2024 we have a total of 30 Luangwa Artisan Collective members.

From weavers and wood carvers to artists and metal-smiths, the Luangwa Artisan Collective is made up of independent and talented master artisans.

Based in South Luangwa, where jobs are scarce, they are dedicated to improving their skills to make a living from their art and passion.
