The Luangwa Artisan Collective
GRASS ROOTS DEVELOPMENT
As of 2024 we have a total of 30 Luangwa Artisan Collective members.
From weavers and wood carvers to artists and metal-smiths, the Luangwa Artisan Collective is made up of independent and talented master artisans.
Based in South Luangwa, where jobs are scarce, they are dedicated to improving their skills to make a living from their art and passion.

Certified Ethical Practice
We're Nest-certified for ethical standards, meeting 100+ criteria, and undergo annual reviews for the seal of approval.
Community Impact
We boost local employment and aid Malimba School and Hanaha Orphanage.
Hand Crafted In Zambia
All of our products are made by hand next to our small shop in Mfuwe, South Luangwa, Zambia.
Conservation Impact
We contribute to conservation efforts by donating to the Zambian Carnivore Program (ZCP) and Conservation South Luangwa (CSL).
Sustainable Materials
All of the materials used by the artisan group are either naturally & sustainably grown, fallen wood or or are licensed by the Community Resources Board.
