This Tonga basket is handcrafted by artisans from the Luangwa Artisan Collective in Zambia. Traditionally used for winnowing maize, Tonga baskets are handwoven together with natural palm leaves sometimes dyed with bark and roots to make up the designs.

Light and beautiful, these baskets make for beautiful wall decor or to decorate a table.

The artisans from Luangwa Artisan Collective are independent artisans that work out from Tribal Textiles, and all sale proceeds go directly to them and their families.

Size: 30 cm diameter
